Not a continuation of yesterday's post, just more whinging on my part

I get so teeth-gnashy when I'm reading over my shit and find near-identical phrasing of an emotion in two completely different parts. I mean, I know this is still at the rough stage, and I'm just getting stuff down and I'm gonna tweak it later, but it still bugs the crap out of me. It's like it validates that garbage voice inside of me that's constantly poking holes in my confidence. "See? You're not that good at this after all. The evidence is here, staring you right in the face."

Yeah, yeah, fuck you, brain.

That does remind me, I was reading over the 20 or so pages that I cut from this chapter now that it's taking a different direction, and damn, I'm proud of some of that. It may be the first time I wind up posting an entire chapter as a tfr post. Well. After this one gets posted.
