A follow-up to my previous entry re: writing advice - I believe most of you are familiar with TV Tropes, but if you aren't (or just haven't done enough exploring yet), they have some further advice on writing that you may be interested in.
So You Want To: Write A Story
I also recommend checking out the So You Want To: Index, which also includes more specific articles such as So You Want To: Write A Fanfic, So You Want To: Write A Love Story, So You Want To: Write A Survival Horror Game, and more arresting articles that will undoubtedly become a massive timesuck, as tends to happen when people decide to pay TV Tropes a visit.
(Case in point - I started this entry half an hour ago. The past thirty minutes of my life just disappeared into the massive black hole that is TV Tropes.)
This past weekend I finished ch10a and sent it off to beta, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
