The letter S is for "Song!"
Aug. 1st, 2010 09:29 pmThis took me a lot longer than I thought it would! First there was the whole matter of selecting a song (me being terribly indecisive by nature, something that should've taken two minutes took more like thirty), then there was the matter of uploading the damn thing (which involved multiple computers and a ridiculously complicated transferring process; ever since the HD was replaced on my laptop my music collection no longer rests in one place, plus there is the annoying matter of said laptop's wireless connectivity being all fucky (read: NONEXISTENT)), and then of course there's the matter of me generally being long-winded and fond of lengthy run-on sentences when describing my habits (which probably doesn't have much to do with anything; also I am fond of excessive semi-colons and parentheticals).
Which is all to say you guys are in for some torture this month, if that last item isn't your thing.
At the last moment I was kinda thinking I should've made this a non-TEF-related song!post, but after all the ridonk that went down (see above), I decided I was being too nitpicky. Plus I love this song anyway, so w/e, self.
Linger by The Cranberries
In my head this is basically TEF!Prom's main theme. I don't care how old or outdated it is, I still ♥ this song. It started out on my Blues playlist ages back, but it actually works for everybody in some way (and not necessarily within the color-coded pairings, given the context in ch4).
Nobody sue me for posting this song pls, it is for sample purposes only AND I TOTALLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO BUY THE MP3 BECAUSE IT IS A LOVELY LITTLE SONG.
