Hi, I'm a giant nerd.

The s.o. and I were talking the other night, and cars came up, and I went "blah blah blah Coil," and the s.o. pauses and goes, "'Coil?' What's that?"

I backtrack in my mind and go, "Oh. Tesla Coil. I meant Tesla."

So yeah, I was a total nerd and brought up the fake car from TEF that is the love of Brick's life when I meant to be talking about the real car that the fake car is based on.

But I thought that would be a good segue into Hey folks, this is the car that inspired Brick's Coil.

Now, it's not entirely the car I'd imagine he'd drive (Christ listen to me I am such a nerd) as it's completely electric and I honestly can't see Brick driving something that is a) environmentally friendly and b) does not make noise. He would want a car that makes noise. A lot of it. At a very high decibel level. Not to mention one that slaughters a polar bear every time he sticks the key in the ignition.

But it's got a gorgeous, sexy design, and it drives like a motherfucker, and did I mention the gorgeous, sexy design? I don't think he'd pass up a test drive, in any case.

That said, I do have a list of cars that Brick would totally want in his garage. With saved pictures and everything. Perhaps one day I will post them and subject you all to even more grandiose displays of my nerddom.

... And while we're on the topic, I've actually gone on to speculate what cars each of the girls & boys would drive. Because that's just how I am. Epically nerdtastic. Maybe that will all be incorporated into one giant ball of nerdiness post.

Finished TEF ch6 this morning (FINALLY, that should not have taken so long!) and fired it off to beta. Now to tackle those ch5 revisions I've been putting off and putting off. Funny how when I have more time on my hands and less story to write (... sort of) I still move stupidly not fast. AND I STILL NEED TO CATCH UP ON COMMENTS TO spfizz, juxtaposie, AND philosophicwax. I suck at the lj friend thing.
