Mitch glanced over at the new students, standing in the doorway to Pokey Oaks Kindergarten. "Which one?"
Harry pointed. "There. The one in green."
Mitch's eyes skimmed over her sharp green eyes, her crossed arms, her scowl. He glanced back at her sisters, making a face at their bow and pigtails.
"Man," Floyd moaned next to him, "how come the new kids are never boys?"
"What do you think, Mitch?" Harry pressed. Man, it was like he had a crush on her already or something.
He looked her over one last time before shrugging. "She's alright. I mean, you know. For a girl."
