To someone who will never see this.
You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Talking with you informs my writing in every aspect: how I handle plotting, characters, and most of all, relationships. You give me my writing time and you never pry. When I write about the fluttery feelings inside a character in love, I am remembering so many moments I spent waiting for you, looking for you, being with you, and loving you.
When I am writing about the awkward adorable moments, or the loving playful moments, or even the epic screaming matches (that are in reality very one-sided), I am remembering us. I am remembering this.
In reality we are actually very boring. Disgusting, even. We only enjoy drama as a storytelling aspect, and there's thankfully very little of that in our lives.
You'll see and hear various iterations of this over the years (oh, that we'll both be so lucky), but this particular one you will never see. Well, maybe someday.
