What the fuck, why is there so much anime/manga on this list D: I keep going through things I love in my head, but then I'm all Oh wait, my favorite character in that one is male, so damn... which, interestingly enough, most of my favorite characters in western animation are male characters. Maybe there is an interesting reason behind this...

OMG I remember being so excited about Space Jam when I was a kid. I actually cut out almost every image I could find of Lola in the Target and K-Mart ads we got in the paper, no joke. I sure had no idea why she was so cool to me when I was a little girl, but looking back at it I have a better idea now!

I mean, there were, like, no girl Looney Tunes characters! And I loved Looney Tunes, I loved them SFM, so I didn't really care, but when they introduced Lola Bunny I just threw up my little girly hands and went OMG YAY! It didn't even matter that I wasn't that into sports or that her role in the film was so limited, or that we didn't see enough of her KICKING ASS during the actual game... she was a girl Looney Tunes character and she was better than the boys at something and she was PRETTY and all of those things = awesome to my itty-bitty ten year old brain. Granted, the movie was basically a 90-minute Michael Jordan ad, and there was so much - SO MUCH! - more that they could've done with Lola to make her really super fucking awesome, but I've got a lot of happy, over-excited little girl affection for her, and the fact that she existed in the movie at all is enough for the ten year old that's not-so-deep inside of me.

There needs to be another movie and Lola needs to be in it being all awesome and kickass. XD Seriously, I love her. She's pretty and hot and good enough to keep up with the boys. WE NEED MORE FEMALE CHARACTERS LIKE HER.

There's a new Looney Tunes cartoon coming out that is (for now) called Laff Riot - see here (http://www.cartoonbrew.com/tv/looney-tunes-news.html) - and Lola is going to be part of the cast.
