I greatly amused myself the other day when I realized that, considering this first part of ch10 I've written, I could very well title it "LOST HIS SOUL TO A WOMAN SO HEARTLESS" if I was shameless and had no taste. Though to be fair that has rarely stopped me before.

For real though I am not seriously naming it that

Writing ch10 feels gooooooood. I'm trying to do a week on the essay (last week) alternating w/a week on TEF (this week), and that keeps the writing process feeling very loose and fresh for me! Though the going is slow on TEF. I'm really hoping to bring this chapter back under 70 pages, if possible *HIDES*.

I've got another big action scene coming up, and hopefully all will go according to plan and it will come out at least marginally on par with the action scene from ch2, which, yeah, not going to lie, I am very proud of. I personally find heavy action scenes exceptionally difficult to write, because the action needs to move FASTFASTFAST and as a result your narrative needs to really flow, lest it pull the reader out of the story. That particular fight b/w the Greens is quite possibly the one time I felt like what I wound up with on paper mirrored exactly what I had in my head. Man, if all my action scenes could come out like that one... Urgh, I don't know. We'll see. Cross your fingers for me. BUTTERCUP I LOVE YOU YOU ARE SO BADASS

Dipping into RL for a sec, I am rocking some sexy new boots today, let me tell you. Seriously, I can't stop staring at my feet. It's a miracle I've been able to walk around today without colliding into things.

......I'm like dying with the suspense for chapter five of TEF, but, alas, I shall wait patiently. It would be hypocritical of me to rush you since I'm always late with my own chapters XD

Lucky you on the boots - I have huge feet (size 10.5/11 womens or 42 European, whichever system you're more familiar with) and it is very rare for me to find great shoes, much less kick-ass boots D:

TEF has a ways to go yet! This thing's probably going to go on for... hm, roughly 17 chapters...? Ugh, now I've put a number on it, that's a bad idea.

Search for Mia Hayley suede boots on Google; if the look of those float your boat then go about half a size to a full size down :) Spent most of my day in them and they were quite comfy! One was a little tight around the ankle but I just stuffed a full water bottle in it for about a day and then it fit perfectly. (Okay, probably way more info than you were looking for on boots, but when I derive such satisfaction from something I can't help not sharing!)

Artie, too. Seriously. I love his voice and, just, just, just watch some of his videos in the extras section on the Fox website - they must Ugly Betty him SO much on the show, because I don't know how else he isn't stealing every scene with his awesome.

In the off set clips I've seen of him he comes off as remarkably charismatic, so yeah, it's a real switch from his persona on the show!
