TEF, not so much.

Bad work weekend for TEF. Not even going to bother; I will say last week I broke the 60,000 word mark *waves tiny banner of triumph*! No factoids or statistics for this week, though, because I would rather be lame and not publicize my lameness. At least not in that manner. So allow me to publicize my lameness in other ways.

I hit a real slump this weekend, which really bummed me out because I had a significant amount of free time in which writing could occur. TEF inspiration was just not coming to me, even with an outline. I tried writing bits and pieces that needed to be written and couldn't get them out. Sigh and all. So instead I went surfing about for fanarts!

Stateside PpG fanart isn't really up these days, but thankfully, Japan and its propensity for cuteness and other general awesomeness helps out a lot in that department. Proof of this awesomeness is that the RrB feature very prominently in a lot of high quality fanart, way more so than, er, non-Japanese fanart. That, and it really looks freaking gorgeous sometimes.

Ag has his/her own unique way of illustrating the girls and boys that is eerily cute and sometimes just eerie. There are also a number of hilariously done comics, none of which I can read, but Ag does such an excellent job with the visuals that it's often very easy to understand what's going on. Really lovely work here, and I'm so often sitting at my desk stifling laughter while the s.o.'s trying to get some actual work done. There are maybe hints of pairings, especially if you check out the 1 2 3 4 5 links at the top (oekaki gallery, I think?).

OH. HOLY. CRAP. I always get ridiculously excited when I discover new PpG fanartists to decorate my desktop with, and I struck gold today when I found Ujikin, who is a hardcore SHIPPER, SQUEE. Her Butch/Buttercup is so awesome, omg, as well as her Bubbles/Boomer. Please. Witness the hotness. And the adorability. And did I mention the hotness.

Oh man, my day just got that much brighter because of this. It's so hard to find good PpG stuff now, let alone AWESOME SHIPPER ART. My day is kind of made, kthnx.

In any case ...60, 000 words. DUDE. I cannot wait to read this, for serious, edge of my seat here. Sucks about the momentary writing slump, but hey, at least you sated yourself with illustrated hotness. Always a plus. :D

I'm in agreement with spfizz: 60,000 words = pure awesome. Also, I still have birthday fic for you. Which I'm hoping will be done by Wednesday or Thursday. I keep telling myself I will not be a whole two weeks late, and I've got most everything written. It just needs to be fleshed out a little. Being my first foray into the Land of the Green, it still feels a little rough, but... eh, we'll see. I think you'll like it, in any case.

Also: fanart is awesome. I love you.
