Important LJ privacy announcement
Sep. 1st, 2010 05:29 pmIf you've kept up with
news, or even just posted a comment in the last 24 hours, you might be aware of the recent changes involving the option to cross-post your lj entries/comments to Facebook and Twitter.
I don't know about you, but this is pretty not cool for me, especially since I am a hotkey/keyboard queen and don't actually use the computer mouse except when essential. I'm not linking my lj to any outside accounts, so I'm in the clear personally, but for anyone stumbling across my journal... I'm just not happy with the increased possibility for human error. At ALL.
If you're using Firefox, there's a Greasemonkey script that can remove those little checkboxes from underneath your comment box.
I'd also urge you to please visit your privacy settings and make sure everything is set to your liking.
