Just one more bit to go

Okay. Most major scenes of the next chapter have been written. One left. That does still leave a lot of transitional stuff between scenes to be written, and I'll probably finally kill off that one part that I originally planned to write but wound up going a different way. Although. Upon reflection that would provide a nice contrast with the other two couples' areas. But... that would necessitate a complete rewrite of those moments. And that would delay things. But... it would probably fit better. And be more appreciated. God damn it am I talking myself into rewriting that bit? God damn it.

Well, I did wind up rewriting that entire Halloween chapter and wound up being really proud of it. So. Maybe. But ugh damn it. I really should've been looking at my outline in the first place!

You know what, I'll save it for when I do my read-through. It's good enough just to get something down so I can read the whole thing and make sure it hangs together. That's what the revision part is for. Also wtf am I doing bitching about delays when it's already been nearly two years lol. I'm gonna worry about that now?!

I still have a bunch of fic to port over from FFNet to AO3 but can't decide which fic to do next. Anyone have anything to suggest?

Oh gosh, I have in my journallings gone through that exact sequence of talking myself into something as I'm writing my thoughts down. So funny to see it in someone else's writing!

Always lovely to hear some more about what's going on with your work. Seems like you've got into a nice rhythm? Excellent if so—or, at least, I enjoy being in the swing of things. I think considering the rewrite post-read-through seems like the way to go! I should perhaps start my yearly reread soon, as well.

No suggestions from me on the FFNet front I'm afraid, but if I do give them another look and have a favourite I may come back!
