Mini-update. Baby update. Teeny tiny bb update.
Y'all I appreciate the patience with my absence ♥ I've been digging into a lot of stuff with my therapist about ~~stuff~~ that the past 2.5 years really brought to a head - some of it related to the rest of the world, more of it related to me, specifically. idk why I feel like I owe y'all an explanation but I can't keep that part of myself v quiet. I appreciate you if you're reading this, I appreciate you for being here. Thank you ♥
Stuff is being worked on; I can't promise an update to TEF/MTH soon but know that there is a complete draft of the next chapter that's pending beta/revisions/proofing. I mean, typically there's a complete draft of the next chapter at any given moment, it's just a matter of what stage in the process it's at. But it's coming, I promise!
In the meantime, I've had a LOT of little ideas I've been playing around with and, more significantly, have actually had both the time and the energy to write. It's been a surreal experience, to be able to sit for two hours and not be pulled away b/c of "real world" obligations! I'm trying desperately to figure out how to keep accessing that part of myself, especially when I've seen how easily she can be smothered out of me. Part of what I go to therapy for, I guess.
That's a little fatalistic, though. Even when I thought I was being smothered I managed to write a few things, and I was incredibly surprised when I opened these things up last week and had that thing happen, where I went, "Did I write this? Holy shit, I did!" And it was far better than I thought, especially considering how numb my person was at the time of writing.
Anyway there's more coming, is all I'm getting at. Sideline stuff, while TEF chugs along in the background. (I'm about to start working on the last part. Oh my God I can't wait to be done with it. I hope y'all like it.)
Also. Uh. Half of this won't be news to those of you who were in rb's stream earlier this week and saw me pop in (thanks again for being v cool and sweet to me ♥ trip to Brazil when?!), but among the stuff I've been working on on the side is some spicy and very, very nsfw fic. I'll put up a more detailed post about how y'all can access it (I do need to finish writing it first, of course) in a few days when I have the energy for it, but I can say for sure I do not currently have plans to put any of it up on ao3 or FFNet - that stuff is going to be here on DW, under locked posts, and you will need an account to read it. With a new PpG show announced involving Cra*g and how often I see my sn get bandied about online (COOL BUT TERRIFYING UHHH THANK YOU ALL I LOVE YOU???) I am not taking any chances. Pancakes is already locked, in fact. But more details later.
