Tidbit that has been cut from the next chapter
If anyone is in the path of or has been affected by Florence, I hope you're safe and okay. ♥
My problems, on the other hand, are pretty petty in comparison. I'm having trouble getting in the writing zone this morning, so here's an excerpt that was cut from the previous draft.

“Are you done with the computer yet or what?” Blossom pressed. Buttercup shooed her away.
“I'm actually doing homework for once and you're going to shove me off?” she retorted.
“I just don't understand why you waited so long to use it! This thing was free for two hours, and now you're getting on it?!”
“So why weren't you using it then, Blossom?”
“Because I, unlike certain other people in this household, was doing my homework then, when I was supposed to.”
“You know,” Bubbles interjected, “the two of you bickering like this makes it very difficult for the people in the room who actually are trying to do their homework right now.”
“How much longer do you need?” Blossom sighed.
Buttercup had already turned back to the screen. “Like an hour. I just need to write my paper. And check my e-mail. And look up some stuff on the Vietnam War.”
Blossom's eye was twitching in an effort to not zap her sister with her eyebeams. “I better just have Brick do the research tonight,” she decided, and stalked over to the phone.

Can you tell I grew up in a one computer household? Is that still the case? Do families even have computer rooms anymore, or is it all just done through your phone? God I'm old.

But I did not grow up with two sisters my age; we did not all have the same cognitive function
Which means, as the eldest, I hogged the damn thing all the time and no one could say shit
