This is a show about three strong, capable, superpowered little girls, who save the world on a daily basis, who overcome obstacle after life-threatening obstacle, who will not stand for taking your shit
and yet for some reason the majority of this fandom seems hellbent on turning them either into submissive, whimpering damsels who wither in the face of a sneering, overbearing male force, or vapid sex objects falling out of their dresses. (And let's not forget IMPLIED RAPE! Sometimes in BOTH CASES! Because it's HOT!)
Now if you'll excuse me I have things to do. Things that probably involve writing the girls beating the ass off of an enormous monster. (Spoiler alert! THE MONSTER SYMBOLIZES FANDOM.)
In other news, I bought some super-girly wardrobe accoutrements today. Blossom and Bubbles would be all over this shit. I tried them on over my combat boots in the dressing room. Buttercup would be all over the first part of that shit.
