I have nothing of substance to say and still haven't caught up on comments, so for now, here is the Handwriting Meme I was tagged to do by aerodactylus. I happened to have a tablet at my disposal :]

I am! I speak very, very little of the language, though. I'm an ABC in the worst sense of the word. I am a shame to my culture, essentially.

:D i'm Chinese too - i was actually born in China, but basically moved to America when i was like really really small (not even a year old)? therefore, my chinese also sucks, but the fact that i was born in China makes me even worse. ;)

Interesting! I'm Fil-Chi and I barely speak Mandarin or Fookien XD no-read, no-write and I actually studied Mandarin for 13 years. Woooo~ for poor methods of teaching!

I'm of Mexican origin and I can speak only very little Spanish, unlike the rest of my family who are fluent in it. They'll ask me something in Spanish and I always go, "Huh??? o.O"

I guess I'm a disappointment to my culture as well XD

I'm Vietnamese. Can't speak a word of it. Can't even pronounce their words when people try to teach it to me. I don't even like half of their food. I think I beat you all in the "disappointment to one's culture" department. :)

And ironically, a friend of mine says, "You're so Asian."

XD I don't even LOOK Hispanic - people think I'm French or Italian for some reason - and I can't pronounce the words either. My cousins and family always make fun of me for that and Mexican food is, like, some of my least favorite food out there. Not to mention, I don't really eat chili, which to Hispanic culture - or at least in my family - is a crime. Haha.

Though I think you have me beat. I was watching a TV special on Vietnam, and I saw this girl who looked like she could be my cousin or sister or something. xD
