36. If they had to choose one, what would they choose? Music for Boomer, family for Bubbles.
37. What gifts did they get for the other person? Boomer is big on grand displays of affection, so any milestone/holiday celebrations probably involve multiple gifts over multiple days, culminating in one big gift or performance on the day of. Bubbles is more subdued but pays very close attention, so she'd err on the the less demonstrative side but have the perfect present. She'd also probably play dumb and troll him a bit by either “forgetting” the day or giving him a trash gift and letting him think that was his actual gift for a week (or month) before going “lol jk” and giving him his actual gift.
38. What did they say when they hand out their gifts? Boomer? You'd think long speech, but he's not much of a wordsmith, so any gift is probably accompanied by a series of appropriate song lyrics strung into a bit of a speech. Bubbles is sweet and simple, and assuming the trolling part of the gift-giving is done, probably goes into a little bit of detail on how she came to her “Aha!” moment and the circumstances surrounding her eventual acquisition and what was going through her mind when she selected/wrapped it.
39. How did one of them propose to another? Jesus, Boomer probably goes all out with a multi-hour concert performance or something that takes them through their entire relationship, represented by a series of songs in several acts.
40. And their answer? There was a point in time where I unequivocally would have said “Bubbles says yes,” but. Hmm. I don't always see them as “end game,” so take that as you will.
