**possible epilepsy warning for this vid**
I don't post a lot of songs from my PpG playlist – that is, the playlist dedicated strictly to the Girls (and Professor). It's a pretty short playlist; songs about family that don't venture into pure schmaltz territory are rare, and a lot of the stuff is instrumental and often geared towards what I call “Fight music” for the Girls.
Endless Fantasy kind of falls into both categories for me. I feel like the different “instruments” in the song represent each girl individually. The opening connotes an establishing shot of Townsville, the higher-pitched video game-y chirps feel very much Bubbles while the lower-pitched ones are (duh) Buttercup (I hear a bit of her in the electric guitar parts as well), the more “melodic” chirps are Blossom, and when they all come together for those lovely majestic (heroic!) swells that's the girls working in tandem, side-by-side.
There's no set scenario I have for this in my head (e.g., the scenario for that Killers song with the line “I got soul but I'm not a soldier” that I can't remember the title of but posted about years and years ago, that one definitely has a narrative associated with it), it's strictly the feel of the piece.
Also it just makes me super super happy to listen to, which... pretty much lines up with my feelings about the Girls.
